This pony is simply amazing!!!! She responds to you when you talk to you ... Makes crunching noises when you feed her... And moves her head from side to side when you 'pet' her. My girls love horses and animals alike and this is just great. The size is perfect (the size of a large cat) and the fur doesn't seem to shed everywhere when you 'brush' her- which both make Mr extremely happy. This is money well spent for the child who really wishes for any animal for their birthday or Christmas!!

Customer review : Clever, Attractive, and Unique Toy
There are definitely a lot of things to like about Baby Butterscotch Magical Show Pony. It is a pretty, soft-furred, animated toy. It "talks" with you and moves it's head in cute ways and calls out to you in whinnies and snorts when you don't give it enough attention. You can brush it's mane and tail and feed it a toy carrot to hear it crunch while eating. But, beyond that, I'm a little disappointed.
Butterscotch has nine sensor points that react to touch. The rather noisy motors turn it's head as directed by the touch or open it's mouth to whinny or eat. I've found that it can get "confused" if you touch too many sensors too quickly, something my six year old granddaughter found hard to understand. Frustration would result when she repeatedly touched it's head for it's mouth to open and jammed the carrot in Butterscotch's mouth with no crunching sound. After only a few minutes of play and brushing, I found that she walked away to find another interest. My other, 9...
