I must admit I didn't realize this Polly Pocket set attached to the wall. My daughter saw it and just wanted the "mall". When I opened the box I was surprised to see so many pieces, and had a moment of panic. However, I decided to try assembling it, and was surprised it went together fairly easily, maybe twenty minutes. Finding a place on the wall in the playroom to hang it took longer. It's suggested to use a three foot x three foot area. It attaches with three Command strips on the back, of which I was hesitant, but did anyway. It is a beautiful set, the blue is eye-popping and happens to match the silk curtains hanging right next to it. My daughter loves the fact that the doll came with suction cup shoes, and they fit all of her Polly Pockets, those with narrow feet and wide feet. It allows the dolls to stand up on the product. We haven't been able to get the ferris wheel to turn, but the escalator does work. Here are my only concerns: after hanging on the wall about...

My eight-year-old daughter has been a Polly Pocket fan since she was three and keeps all of her Polly Pockets organized in a large drawer which she dips into often to play with, especially when she has friends over. These on the wall Polly sets are actually quite cool and provide a unique playing experience for Polly fans. This set does require some assembly but it is easy enough and the 3M Command strips that come with the set makes attaching the set to the wall pretty easy (also easily removable without causing any damage to the wall). It took my husband and daughter about half an hour to set it up but that was mainly because my husband tried to get my daughter to put most of the pieces together! There is even a large foldout instruction sheet that is in color and makes it all the more user-friendly. Snow White is a favorite movie in our house, and this doll does not disappoint! And what you get, for the price is (if you get it in stores) fantastic! You get a Snow White doll, a picnic basket (with a cute illustration of the toddler princess on the front), a rabbit, a blanket, a carton of apple juice, a glass, a fork, a spatula (correct me if I got that wrong), an apple with a bite in it (how ironic!), two sandwiches on a plate, and a pie (probably apple) divided into four separate pieces in its own platter. The dress that the Snow White doll comes in with this set is NOT the same dress as the basic Snow White toddler doll, and, in my opinion, a better one. Also, I love how they have the food separate (not all clumped together, or stuck to its plate), but they probably can get lost easily that way. This is a great set to get for a princess fan, a Snow White fan, or just someone who wants to have a picnic with their doll!

Nice barn for toy horses
Just got this item today and I am impressed with it's compatibility for various sizes of toy horses. I especially love the fact that it can be folded up to a smaller size to be tucked into a closet when needed.

This barn has multiple doors that open-some slide and other's are dutch doors. We do have another barn of this type that has the dutch doors and the hinge's fell apart right away. I am hoping this one will be better since the doors do seem to open and close more smoothly on this particular barn...but need to stress that the kids need to be somewhat 'gentle' with these dutch doors so they don't break the hinges. The manufacturer really should attach them with metal hinges and they would last alot longer.

Overall...I feel my kids are going to get alot of enjoyment out of this barn.

This train set is great! It has a lot of authentic detailing and fellow (adult) Lego train collectors will love this addition.

With that being said, earlier reviews of this train set that I read before it's release had little to say about how to add power to this set other then adding power to an additional car. I have a good size 9-volt power Lego train collection (a lot of cars, four powered engines, 250 pieces of track, several extra 9-volt motors and four power supplies).

Upon looking at the early pictures, I figured that the coal car could have a 9-volt motor added, which is possible with minor modification. The base of the coal car has a 6x10 gray plate. If you drill out the very center hole, a 9-volt motor will slip into place. You'll also need to add two 4x1 black plates on each side between the metal wheels, and one 4x2 black plate above each train coupler to hold them down (all under the 6x10 gray plate and above the motor).

I bought this doll as a gift for my 94 yr. old Mother who is suffering from dementia.
I put the doll in her bed just before bedtime, and she was immediately enamored by La Baby.
She now finds it a wonderful comfort & reminder of her years as a mother, and really looks
forward to bedtime to say a few words to La Baby. This "toy" has proven very therapeutic,

My son received Shen a little over a month ago and it has quickly become his favorite! It is nice to have a "doll" which can be dressed that is fun for boys. My only complaint is that the pants tend to slide down when Shen is being played with. The outfits are pretty cute (though I like the ones for Zylie a little better). None of that is important to my 4 1/2 year old son. He sleeps with Shen tucked under his arm every night!!

At a family party this past Christmas I saw my stepdaughter's 5 year old son playing with a truck that launched a rocket. I thought forget it I might as well send his gift home with them and let him unwrap it there. Surprise! He opened it and completely lost interest in the truck. In fact, Shen became his constant companion after that and goes everywhere with him except school.
