15-month old daughter loves this doll
We have a Calin doll and purchased this one for our beach vacation based on our positive experience so far with Calin. Our daughter loved having this doll at the beach. She floats, she swims, and she dries off easily. If she doesn't dry off completely between playtimes, no problem with smells or anything -- easy and worry-free. For our daughter's age, the little accessories were amusing at first but quickly were thrown aside (just begging to get lost) -- I put them away for when she gets older. Now that we're not at the beach, our daughter plays with this doll along with her others and sometimes brings it into the bath.
It is pricey but I could not find another doll like it, so I thought it was worth it. Corolle dolls are wonderful.
