Very big, and better than any of it's competition.
I searched for the perfect dollhouse for my daughter before I ordered this one. In comparison to all the other ones this one is by far the best deal. It is ver large and the furniture pieces that comes with it fills the house nicely.
It does seem to be a little cheaply made, but all these wooden houses are made the same. The directions are pretty clear and easy to use when putting it together, however you'll need to pay attention to 'which side is up' on some pieces because it doesnt tell you. ((not a problem for most people probably, but I'm easily distracted :)) Allow yourself a few hours when assembling, it took me about 4 hours to do it alone. Another note I'll make is the elevator seems very tough to move up and down, but I'm hoping this will loosen over time after my daughter plays with it.

It does come in a box with a picture on the front, but it has no bearing on the quality of this product.

Overall a nce product, better than the plastic ones that...

Customer review : A great dollhouse at a great price!
I don't know what it is about this dollhouse, but it's very popular with kids of a wide age range. My daughter got this for her 3rd Birthday, but even her baby sister plays with it. The nice thing is that, at least with the initial set, there are no choking hazard pieces.
This dollhouse comes with a family of three: mom, dad and baby. It comes with a kitchen set, chairs and table, and a bathroom which includes built in tub and sink and a separate toilet.

Additional sets can be purchased. I highly recommend the big sister set, as it comes with an additional family member, and a bed, which the dollhouse is lacking in. Also, the grandma/stroller set would be another solid choice.

For such a good price, this toy is a great investment. Most children are drawn to this dollhouse and it will provide endless hours of fun.

I bought this house for my daughters for their calico critters because the houses that are made for those (although very cute) are plastic, tiny, and overpriced...I'm thinking they can also use it for those littlest pet shop blythe dolls as well. I put it together to store until christmas, it is HUGE! I contemplated getting the bottom level "make more room" section, but I don't think I even need it! This house has so much space that what I thought I'd use for 1 room, can be divided to make 2 rooms (with calico critters furniture). I like it because there is so much room for hands to play and move things around. My only concern is the middle walls at the top are not connected to the roof...they seem sturdy enough though. And I thought the instructions for assembly are a little strange. You kind of have to make up how to put it together in a more logical way. I am also planning to put it up on a little table because it looks like it might be hard to play on the bottom level if it's so...

We were initially attracted to the house's A-frame design. We wanted a dollhouse that would allow a few children to play easily in different areas of the house. The A-frame allows for this. We favor toys made of wood b/c of our concern for the environment, the safety of our children and we've found that they tend to hold up better than plastic ones. Although, we were disappointed with the flimpsiness of the wood that makes up the interior walls of the house. Kids will love this 'house
Bought this for my almost 5 year old granddaughter-and she loves it because it's big enough for her Barbies and has such colorful furniture and walls. Plus, it's accessible from all sides. It has wheels and is large, all pluses. However, don't believe anyone who says it only takes an hour to assemble. We hired a professional to put it together and it took him at least 2 hours--and he had to use his power drill and supply extra washers.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. She/we LOVED it; I did ALOT of research; even bought Imaginarium Grandview Dollhouse from Toysrus and returned after comparing it with this one. The Quality alone spoke for itself, the frame of this dollhouse is Wood; not the cardboard cheap thin stuff like most of the dollhouses are made from. IT has TEN rooms with wood furniture; where the Grandview only gave you 11 furniture pieces and the thin walls were obnoxious colors (which only a child could love).

It is HUGE; we had to rearrange her closet and take away a bookshelf to make this fit in her room so she can play with both sides (versus other dollhouses with one side to put against the wall) but she has played with it EVERYDAY since she's had it now. She has mixed dolls; Barbies, Moxie doll, Liv dolls, & Brat dolls; they all work. THIS dollhouse is durable where you can hand it down to future siblings.

Grandma gave this to our four-year old girl for Christmas. She plays with it daily, so versatile, sometimes a house, sometimes a fortress, sometimes a barn. The front piece (atrium/balcony) is removeable and as such, is prone to being a little fragile, but otherwise this is a great looking set and feels good in your hands. Customer review : A Great Value But Very Hard To Play With
It was a great value, to be able to get all the dolls, furniture and the house for such a great price. We got it for our daughter last year for Christmas. However, we are buying a new one for her for this year!

The doll house is really hard to play with. Having a semi-closed front makes it hard to "get into" the house. I find that it is hard for my kids to get the dolls into the setting positions and to place them on the couches and chairs without knocking other furniture items over. It is hard to move dolls from one room to the other. It is also hard for more than one child to play with it at a time. Seeing how they play with other doll houses, it appears that a doll house that is open in the fount is a much better design.

An open front doll house allows the kids to easily reach all the rooms. Also, it facilitates more than one child playing at a time (not to mention a grown-up's bigger hand). Also, an open face design takes up less space. You can push it...

The colors are nice and bright and the house is very inviting. It comes with a mom, dad & baby, but only 2 pieces of furniture- a large bed for the parents, and a large cradle for the baby. That furniture pretty much takes up most of the 2nd floor. Because of the size of the house, I'd say you only need to buy about 3 additional furniture sets- kitchen, bathroom and either living room/family room/dining room. This house has great play value, and it stores very nicely. So happy with this.
We had a kidcraft dollhouse before, a different model, and it was so flimsy. This one is solid, and it has so many features that my children love. The door opens. The windows open. It has stairs. It came with a ton of furniture. It has a balcony high enough for stunts. Star Wars figures fit well in it.

The only aggravation we have is that the stairs come off so easily, but if your little girl doesn't have a one year old brother who loves to torment her, it's hardly an issue at all. They don't fall off in play.

I love it for how sturdy it is, for how complete the furniture collection is, and for how quickly it went together.
